Privacy notice
Short version: this site collects nothing unless you type it into a form. There are two forms — one asks for your email address and then opens the page with the reader downloads on it, the other lets you review the book.
Who is responsible
TSR Intelligence Ltd, registered in England and Wales, is the data controller. Contact: steve@tsri.ai.
What is collected
The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from other companies. Browsing it leaves no personal data with us.
If you request the reader downloads — the Companion Pack, the tables and the figures — the form collects your email address and, if you choose to give it, your name.
If you submit a review of the book, the form collects your name, email address, the review itself, and, if you choose to give it, your role and organisation.
Either form also records three things you do not type, added automatically by Netlify, which receives and stores the submissions: your IP address, your browser’s user-agent string, and the address of the page you submitted from. The date and time are kept with them. Nothing else.
Why, and on what basis
- To send you the pack. Lawful basis: legitimate interests, namely responding to a request you made.
- To email you occasionally about new writing, tools and errata, but only if you tick the box. Lawful basis: consent. The box is not ticked by default and you can withdraw consent at any time.
- To read your review and reply to you about it. Lawful basis: legitimate interests, namely responding to something you chose to send.
- To publish your review on this site with your name and role, but only if you tick the box. Lawful basis: consent. The box is not ticked by default, no review is published without it, and you can ask for a published review to be removed at any time. Your email address is never published.
Your details are not sold, rented, or passed to anyone for their own marketing.
Where it is held
Form submissions are stored by Netlify, which hosts this site, and are visible only to us. If a mailing list is used in future, this notice will name the provider before any list is created.
How long
Requests for the pack are kept for up to 24 months. If you consented to updates, your details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Reviews are kept for as long as they are published, and for up to 24 months otherwise. Ask for a review to be removed and it comes off the site and out of the records.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its use, or withdraw consent. Email steve@tsri.ai and it will be actioned within one month.
If you are unhappy with how a request is handled you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
